Being eco-friendly means being environmentally friendly - which means being friendly to your surroundings and making it a clean and fresh environment for other people in the future to use. Eco Friendly, also known as environmentally friendly, environment friendly, or green is when people are friendly to the world and use products that are no harm to the environment. Eco friendly also means doing other things like recycling, conserving water, energy. You can implement the practices that will lead to healthier living for the planet and its inhabitants, big and small. You are guarding the planet's health if you are being eco-friendly. People try to be eco-friendly in many ways. People even build eco-friendly homes so it is better for the environment. Eco-friendly is also an act of caring to the environment and making sure it's in it's best shape and not just a desert with nothing but sand and no

There are many changes from old times to the green, eco-friendly world we live in now. We can now make eco-friendly buildings, cars and other products.
Today, eco-friendly products are readily available. You can be eco-friendly by using these products and using organic chemicals instead of chemicals that can harm the environment.
An example of an eco-friendly product is a fan. Believe it or not. An AC uses 32 fans. So we would save a lot of energy. It saves 31 fans. We can also make eco-friendly buildings by using solar panels and windmills. It saves the environment and it is also more self sufficient. Also earlier people could not make eco-friendly houses. Now we can cover our houses in dirt and plants and whenever it rains the plants will grow. We can plant gardens. We can grow trees efficiently now. We can also use solar panels, windmills and also eco-friendly pens, jackets and other items.
Now, there are also different ways and places we can grow plants. So nowadays there is no excuse to not be eco-friend. An eco-friendly place in Singapore is Gardens by the Bay and Marina Barrage. These places are eco-friendly because they have a lot of plants and they have big gardens which are self sufficient. Though they could still reduce the amounts of AC's used. They don't need so many. But they still have a lot of sunlight so they still do save some energy.
In September 2012, the KSC (Keep Singapore Clean) focussed their efforts into changing the communities view so that the community would stop littering and would start recycling. In 50 years, Singapore has changed into a garden city but still, there are people littering in places like towns and other central places that lets down the community. The KSC are trying to make sure that people understand the importance of being eco-friendly and they are still succeeding. They are influencing students in schools by giving the teachers programmes to teach so they can pass on the message and it is effective. Slowly but surely Singapore will be turned into a better place. Also there is an eco-friendly link (bridge) being built in Singapore. They have planted 50 native trees at the site.Many people have volunteered to make this bridge as animals can go on it, people can go and in general it is a very eco-friendly act. While global warming is caused by the earths heat it is also caused by not being eco-friendly.
If we are not eco-friendly then it creates heat. For example using too much water. That creates global warming. If we save water, then we are being eco-friendly and we are making a difference to help stop global warming. If everybody started to save water by shorter showers then you can imagine how much better our world would be. I don't think we would even have global warming.
Also trees can be an example. If we start cutting down all the trees in the world we would have no more oxygen and it would also createa lot of pollution which would cause global warming.
The damage that global warming does is deadly. It can destroy houses and wreck buildings. It can kill people and animals.
So remember this, small differences in your houses can make a big difference to our big world.

We could use different recyclable products such as bottles or chopsticks for example. We could cut down our yearly electricity and be resourceful and use the fresh air! Use the window! We could only buy eco-friendly products and not buy products that we don't need. This way were helping the environment and also we are helping ourselves in being conservative.

Many places in the world support the fact of being eco-friendly! Some countries that make an effort to be eco-friendly are Costa Rica, Sweden, and Norway. They are eco-friendly because they save resources and only use them when needed. On the other hand, America uses resources without even thinking. Eco-friendly people and countries are still developing because some countries do not consider being eco-friendly and ignore it thinking that the world needs no improvements. America and Canada are a example of not using or developing eco-friendly products. They do this by not being resourceful and not keeping an eye out for anything which could be environmentally friendly. On the other hand, Icelandic people are the most eco-friendly people in the world. Because they run on renewable resources and are conservative and use little amounts of water, electricity, and fuel. They use electric cars and instead of using the air con they be resourceful and use the window. 7/10 people believe eco-friendly things can make home improvements. That tells us that being eco-friendly is something that is very useful in this world and something that can be used at anytime or anywhere. If you really think about it, it's not that hard! Eco-friendly toothpaste uses baking soda and hydrogen peroxide and natural scent powders and none of them are chemical products. The only thing good about chemical products is that is convenient. Eco-friendly clothing is purely made from 100% cotton and non chemical dye made from natural colors. The eco-friendly make-up hasn't 100% developed yet however there are eco-friendly lip balm,lotion,cream. Eco-friendly cars are also kwon as solared powered cars they are literally solar powered which means sunlight powered. There are other eco-friendly cars too. Mostly eco-friendly product don't use up energy and mostly use up natural products or recycled products.
