Welcome to Grade 5. I am excited to be your teacher this year.
I come from Tauranga, New Zealand. Tauranga is situated on the East Coast of the North Island. It is a beautiful city that is surrounded by beaches and waterways. I have three lovely boys and my husband, Regan Ward, is the Deputy Principal in the Middle School here at OFS.
As a Grade 5 teacher, I aim to develop globally aware, internationally minded students who are MOTIVATED, CONFIDENT and PRINCIPLED individuals. I aim to provide an environment where students will approach learning with ENTHUSIASM, integrity and INDEPENDENT thought.
This is my eighth year living here in Singapore and teaching at OFS where values and student learning are respected. My family and I ENJOY the weather, lifestyle and many attractions that Singapore offers. We have recently moved to the East so we are excited to explore new places around where we are living.
We are so lucky to have such AMAZING facilities and be the first to be involved in the learning and teaching in this FABULOUS new school. I am looking forward the year 2015/2016 - getting to know you and seeing your progress throughout the year.
